Resolutions

New year, new hair. Before the year ended I finally was able to resolve the conflict between me and my long hair- I snipped it short, and short it is now (sort of page-boyish cut), with a touch up of color, courtesy of Maria from Tammy's. And have I gotten more than enough compliments!

However my consistent weight gain has been the bane of my existence as of late, hence I have been trying to get my lazy legs on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day -- no immediate effects visible, but I can feel more energy everyday . Tired as I am every time I get home from work late at night, I still force myself to get on the mill and do an alternate brisk walking/running every 5 minutes. On the first day I have tried it, I have been waking up with more energy and not as sluggish as I used to be.

Just a few hours ago I was watching Julie and Julia the movie -- that gave me an idea -- to blog about the things that come to mind every night as I run the mill, no matter how sundry. The challenge, though, has to do more with me being consistent with blogging than on the treadmill. I know I can do the 30 minute workout everyday, but I have always miserably failed with keeping up with my bog entries, given that I have this recurring addiction to Cafe World (a facebook game, for all of you facebook gentiles). But then we'll see, and take it one day at a time.
